Alpaca Yoga – A Creative Retreat

I am delighted to announce that I will be co-hosting the Alpaca Yoga Creative retreat again in 2023 16th -18th June – at beautiful Burnt Fen.

ENTANGLED LIFE

ENTANGLED LIFE is a joint exhibition with George Browne. The work exhibited has been done during the pandemic and influenced greatly by the periods of lockdown. The title arose from the book of the same name by Merlin Sheldrake which they both read around the same time and many conversations sparked by it; our deep rooted connections with everything.

Art Meets Ecology

Recently published is the Art Meets Ecology book. A collaboration between the Arborealists in Lady Park Wood and George Peterkin, The Eminent Ecologist.

There are paintings and drawings that were created from studying and exploring Lady Park Wood, done by members of The Arborealists including myself and text by George Peterkin, Tim Craven and Christiana Payne

Artist Support Pledge

I am involved in a generous and kindhearted scheme started on instagram by artist Matthew Burrows who’s wonderful idea allows artists who like many others have lost access to any income; with this scheme many are able to sell smaller affordable pieces of work and inso doing pledge to buy another artist work when they reach £1000

Not only is it a lifeline for many but for those who can we are donating a percentage of the money earned from this scheme to one of the key charities supporting the Coronavirus crisis.

We are all so aware of the heroes, our NHS and all the key workers – everyone wants to help.

GoGo Hares! 2018

Alex is one of the participating artists for GoGo Hare 2018! 50 Hares will be scattered around Norwich City, to celebrate Break Charities 50th birthday. Which is the charity they raise money.
